Jason Bitting

Jason is a seasoned veterinary professional with 20+ years in the animal health industry, including 15 years in progressive leadership roles as a Hospital Administrator and Regional Operations Manager within both private and corporate practices. He has a proven track record of leading high-performing teams in both individual specialty/emergency hospitals and multi-site operations.

Jason began his journey into the animal health field as a veterinary assistant in a general practice while he was pursuing his undergraduate degree in biology. He instantly fell in love with the opportunities he was given in the veterinary space to assist with helping pets and people. Passionate about personal and professional development, Jason moved into the emergency and specialty realm where he continued to increase his knowledge and hone more of his clinical skills. From there he fell into leadership and never looked back.

Jason is highly proficient in hospital operations, team development, financial management, and strategic planning, with a deep understanding of the unique demands of general practice and 24/7 specialty and emergency care environments. Additionally, he is skilled at driving operational efficiency, enhancing client and patient care experiences, and fostering collaborative, empowered teams. Throughout his career, he has helped dozens of hospitals reach and exceed their respective goals.

Jason has maintained his passionate for veterinary medicine for over two decades and holds deep appreciation for the veterinary professionals who dedicate themselves to exceptional care every day. He is committed to supporting initiatives that elevate medical quality, enhance the client experience, and empower veterinary teams through mentorship and thoughtful leadership.

His decision to co-found PetVerity arose from witnessing persistent inefficiencies and frustrations throughout his years in the corporate and private equity sectors. While he has worked alongside many dedicated leaders striving to make a positive impact, he repeatedly observed a familiar pattern: executive decisions prioritizing profit margins at the expense of the needs of the practice and its people. PetVerity was built to be the alternative — to champion a model where the well-being of veterinary professionals and the quality of care come first.
